Make a Thankfulness List

Feeling optimistic with the start of the new year or down in the dumps because today is the day that most people return to their regular schedule after the holiday season? Today is a great day to write a list of things you are thankful for. This could even turn into a daily journal or an exercise to do mentally while you are sitting in traffic or waiting in line somewhere. Start small, thinking perhaps of your bodily functions that we often take for granted, such as breathing, seeing, walking etc. Keeping moving with thehoughts maybe thinking of people, experiences, opportunities we are thankful for and then on to the very big picture, whatever that is for you. Often when we combat the drab dark days of winter with this simple exercise. Please share your thoughts and ideas on this blog. This is a journey I would like to invite you to become a part of through self expression and self exploration.  Please visit this site daily for a small art therapy execise to make your day deeper and more meaningful.
